Having lived in Florida for a decade, I am still checking off the list of all the many springs throughout this state.
Hey! Get your Florida Springs Passport to make the check-off process really fun ;)

As I mentioned in my post about my visit to Cedar Key, I decided to hit up Bronson Blue Springs since I was already in the area.
Many springs have the name Blue Springs, an obvious name for obvious reasons. All the locals refer to this spring as such, but it has the additional title Bronson because it is located in Bronson, Florida.
I was chatting with one of the locals on my Cedar Key adventure about visiting Blue Springs, and they gave me the heads up to get there early because there is often a line to get in. I was very grateful for the helpful info!
I made sure to get there one hour before they opened.
*Note* This spring park doesn't open until 10:00 am, much later than many others.
I was visiting on a Sunday, and I was about the 8th car in line getting there 1 hour early.

Make the most of this downtime like I did, grab a coffee and breakfast, and chill in your car with a good book or podcast.
Once it was time to open, they let each car in one at a time through the gate.
The parking lot is small. Those arriving later will have to park along the side of the road leading to the spring.
It is $2.00 to enter the park, and they only take $CASH$.

This spring park is smaller than other places like Rainbow Springs, but it still has a lot to offer.
The swimming area is huge! And it has a diving dock!

For amenities, there is a playground, a sand volleyball court, several picnic pavilions, restrooms, and even a complimentary inflatable station.

*Note* There isn't a concession stand, so make sure to bring snacks and water. NO Alcohol allowed. They will check coolers.
Like at any spring! The water is incredibly clear!
With this being one of nature's pools, you will have some animal friends swimming around as well. I saw some fish and even a softshell turtle friend.
Make sure you take a moment to check out "Little Blue Spring," which is a short walk and an even shorter drive.
Cost wise, this spring gives you the most bang for your buck. And for swimming springs I would have to say this one is in my top three. So journey over to Bronson Florida and see if they have the bluest spring in all of Florida.
